Gotta agree with Tom on this one. This game is just bland in every area outside of the visuals. The gameplay is repetitive and uninspired, the story is a snoozfest with forgettable characters, the levels are bland, there is hardly any platforming (which makes me question if this is a true platformer) and the one interesting gimmick it has, collecting relics to grow bigger, is a big missed opportunity and doesn't even attempt to add variety to the gameplay.
And yes, I'm a big fan of games like Crash and Spyro, which this game plays nothing like. It pays more tribute to God of War than it does those classics.
So what advantage does this thing have over a normal 3DS other than the price point? There doesn't seem to be any, even the design is uglier. I might as well spend the extra $50 and get the better 3DS.
He's right. Maybe if Microsoft didn't force that mandatory Kinect BS on us, they could knock $100 off. Seriously, what if I don't want a Kinect? Why can't there be a "No Kinect" version for less?
I just beat the boss she was complaining about, and it was not even hard at all. It's ashame to see the game score lower just because the reviewer couldn't figure it out and blamed the game for her own lack of skill.
