Guys.. does the 2233rz look as crisp as Samsung's bigger hdtvs for blu-ray movies?
For instance, I love the way AMP and 120hz makes blu-ray movies like almost too real on something like one of the new LED sets by Samsung. I'm wondering if the 2233rz offer the same thing or not? Also, will the resolution of 22" effect blu-ray quality?
I ask this because I already have a huge blu-ray collection. I'm as big a movie fan as a gaming one so I really need to know. My FW900 is absolutely perfect with films and games.. perfect blacks, perfect colors, perfect sharpness (at one time), etc. I'll have to go hunting for another one if the 2233rz or similar won't be adequate for my games AND movies.
THanks.

Yes, it will have an impact on the blu-ray quality as the screen can only display a maximum resolution of 1680x1050 meaning you won't actually be getting full blu-ray quality. This is the only reason why i haven't got one. My monitor has to double up for use with my pc and my xbox and because it doesn't display 1920x1080 for the xbox (HD resolution) the image gets stretched to fit the 16:10 screen ratio which makes it look pretty horrible.
I'm also pretty keen to get my hands on a true 120hz monitor that can display 1920x1080 (idealiy 1920x1200 would be nicer complete with a HD port) and it seems Asus is the only company that has showcased such a product. There is talks about a 27" monitor from LG that displays full HD/blu-ray resolutions but its not REAL 120hz technology its something to do with the monitor inserting duplicate frames to give the effect of 120hz.
So unfortunately it seems everyone is in the same boat :( we all want 120hz blu-ray on our monitors but no such product is available yet!
