Its not your disc its the PS3. The game plays fine for several hours (60GB model) and for some reason after that it locks up during element casting. I assume this is the same problem you are having. If it is the same problem- I'd like to tell you it gets better and goes back to being fine but playing another 5 hours (my problem started at fargo's pirate ship) has only been more of the same.
