So it doesn't seem like Gamespot will give me the missing emblems I know I should have gotten. I watched all the live streams and did not get the night owl emblem, and in turn, the secret agent one. Very disappointing.

It actually made me question the reason I pay a subscription fee here anyway. Don't get me wrong, I still like this place, but I barely use any of the 'perks' that paying members get. With Playstation Plus, I know I'll be taking advantage of that a lot more and the dollar will go further there. So the money for here will be used for other gaming related purposes.

Actually, I remember a few years back that nonpaying members only got to see a live stream for a certain period of time before it stopped. They probably got complaints for that. I doubt that's the case now but I wouldn't know, nor would it matter to me anymore if they did.

Seems I was just a normal member that was paying yearly for no reason. =)

Edit: I just remembered another reason. I still had to look at ads even though I was paying a fee. That was really ticking me off.

Last night was the first game night in which i participated. Unfortunately there seemed to be no real ps3 host for red dead redemption. The 360 version got all the love. Haha. I'm sure those who were trying to join the ps3 version felt really left out. Not a good first time experience, I'd say. Hopefully next time will be better.

No, I already have a wee but I got a Nintendo Wii yesterday but was so busy to post about it. It's actually quite fun, though I don't have too much time to play it as of now.

Well, I finally got one a few days ago :D I would have posted something the day I got it but i was busy playing Resistance. I don't really like the selection of games out currently so there's the waiting game for something more interesting in 2007... 

I couldn't make it to yesterday's live ps3 event. I am so angry and sad because I didn't get to see the excitement in the live coverage and I didn't get another once in a lifetime emblem. I'm not sure what to do now because what's done is done.

It's not the end of the world though and I still have a chance to get the wii emblem. It's just it would have been nice to have more emblems you know?

Well, I'm moving to college soon so I had to drive down there. It took a long while and I thought I could make it in time to see the 3rd live TGS show (I left in mid morning my time). Unfortuately, I was about 10-20 minutes late! :cry: I don't know what I missed but I was fairly dissappointed in the live show after it was over.

Mostly the "live" stuff was just the team in SF while they show a lot of pre-recorded videos of the busy tokyo streets. I think they did have some live feeds from Tokyo but I do understand the bandwidth stuff and all to stream all the way from Japan. They did show some video trailers, which was cool. I am very interested in the next gen games but I really wanted to see all the Final Fantasy trailers TGS had to offer. I'm a big fan, of course. I hope GS will post something soon...

I guess I just have to wait... along with many other fans...:?
