it might have been an electrical surge

i dont take any chances with mine ive got a surge protection lead

also on the second day i had my ps3 i tried 2 install linux but mucked up , my ps3 didnt turn bk on after that i just took it bk 2 hmv and got a new 1

just create a U.S psn account theres so much more stuff on da us store eg. ninja gaiden, full auto 2 , def jam icon , amered core 4 ect

44GB or somthing

but ive also got an external 160gb hardrive connected with films and stuff on
