[QUOTE="1nverted"]I sure as hell hope that Diablo 3 is NOT an isometric point and click rpg.Kez1984

Why? Some of the best rpg games have been piont and click isometric games.

Seriously, isometric d3 ftw... if you want 3D just keep playing wow. Why would you want to change the simplistic beauty of diablo?

[QUOTE="battleboi333"]

[QUOTE="CellAnimation"]Oblivion is probably the best game ever! 200 or so hours of game play. A completely open world that changes as you do stuff. Sure there are some problems with it, like the character voices - seriously you speak to 1 person they can have 3 separate voices, WTF! - there is also a bug in the PS3 GOTY version where you can't complete the quest to remove vampirism if you catch it. metacritics.com - average of 93/100. That says it all really. CellAnimation

LoL My character is lvl 9 and it is a vamp, dam i can't change back, so annoying, trying to find someone sleeping every 24 hours. Tip - DON'T BE A VAMPIRE!

They really should patch the game, a bug like this is unacceptable. Especially considering how easy it is to become a vampire.

That's not a bug... when you become a vampire you stay a vampire until you do a quest to find a cure. Search on the wiki.

Also, oblivion rocks. I won't compare the two because I blatantly haven't tried Dark Sector, but personally I loved oblivion and definately recommend it.

Voice acting - amazing, as in I love when the character's voices changed = hilarity.

Similar textures in areas is a fair trade off for the size of the game, so deal with it, you don't think about it unless you like being hard to please.

Who cares if you're a fighter in the mages guild or a Knight of the Nine in the dark brotherhood... it's all good, they're just different aspects of the game. You don't need to be 100% devoted to one playing style. And you can play for hundreds of hours, but I'm pretty sure if any game took that long to complete it would be a rare accomplishment.

Yea, the graphics look like crap for the amount of gameplay.

And the final fantasy series sucks.

What do you guys think? Are the games that are being released focusing too much on graphics/flashy effects rather than developing a good story?

Obviously online games (the good ones) rely on replay value, but as far as campaigns and the like... I just feel like there is a major lack of great story lines being developed recently. (Holding out for XIII)

Noooo, just save up... and if you don't have a job get one. Even though I haven't played it I don't think you can justify giving up 3 classic games for 1 new one.

Also, Oblivion is too good to give up.
