Action TV:
I've been seeing advertisements for Alias season 4 to air soon on TV. I have both season 1 and 2 on tv - but have only watched it sparingly. I decided to try and get into it - and in the past 4 days, have watched 7 episodes. It's great viewing - I highly recommend it. As well, I can't get enough of 24 at the moment. Currently airing season 4, the show is gripping and easily outclasses season 3, possibly 2. Nothing compares to season 1 though. The concept may be getting old - but it is still entertaining television that demands to be watched. I'm really enjoying it.
Today's Quote:
Today's quote comes from the comic, and later, film "Spider-man". It is spoken as advice from Unclue Ben to nephew Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. The quote is below:
"With great power, comes great responsibility"
In the context of the film, this means more to a singular person, but it can have many meanings. The economic stability of the world rests with the superpowers. Great change can happen if we look at our responsibilities not as nations, or as identites, but as citizens of humanity. We are all born and breed on this wonderful planet - but the developed nations hold a lot of sway in foreign and diplomatic matters. Let it be said, working together should be our main objective. We all have something to give. Let us share.
Feeling sick:
Just this morning I finished work much worse for wear. I have been doing quite a few extra shifts, and covering at another site. For those that don't know, I work in the Service Station Industry as a Console Operator. Other than pay, the best thing about my job is it gives me time to think. The worst thing about my job, other than the odd hours, is it gives me time to think. I enjoy writing, and prefer using a Computer to type up various thoughts and opinion pieces. Not having a personal computer to use at work means on occassion I'll write a note to myself to type up later at home (which I hardly ever do). But last night, I was feeling not to well, and vomited several times. Thankfully it was all off-camera and not infront of any customers. It was my last day of the week (don't have to go in till Friday, YAY!) so I'll be spending a little time at homee recuperating. I have to change my sleeping pattern back to night-sleep anyway.
Nothing else to report, cheerio everyone!
