While the lack of over-the-top blood and gore (a key feature the original version of the game touted) is a bit strange to me, I would most definitely get it if I did not already have the game for Xbox.

It's a great game, and I wish any players of the new Sigma version the best of times with it! :D

There technically is a third game (Contract J.A.C.K.), but only the first level is any good (if it had retained that level of hilarity throughout, it actually might have been a worthy successor).

Anyway, I love NOLF 1 and 2, especially the second one. I laughed out loud on numerous occasions, and the gameplay itself was far ahead of its time.

I play about 5 hours at a time when I actually do play, which is usually only once a week if not less often. My favorite kinds of games are old-school shooters (no regenerating health or stop 'n pop cover, baby), both 2D and 3D platformers, survival horror games (not so keen on the newest Resident Evil or Silent Hill titles, though), and beat 'em ups/hack 'n slashers of any kind. I'm not a huge fan of RPGs, though there are some that I really enjoy (like Persona 2 and Mass Effect). I absolutely hate rhythm games such as Guitar Hero and DDR.

I guess you could say I'm an "average" gamer, but I'm not sure how I'd really describe myself, tbh.

I've never been a fan of Guitar Hero/Rock Band style games or sports games, but it's pretty cool to see a new Ratchet and Clank or Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza) title each year. ;)
