I'm transgender but don't know how to respond to gay people.

I mean gender is largely a social construct so you can be anything you want but if you like the same sex then that's sort of opposite of your natural biological imperative, I don't know how to be around someone like that.

This business is driving my family apart though. My grandma is an alcoholic, my uncle and his wife's marriage is on the rocks which is causing my cousin to act out, and my other uncle is completly codependent on my dad.

He's a building contractor, he got arrested today under suspicion of treason. Apparently, he's been building houses for some dictatorial regime in the middle east.

What am I supposed to do now? I never thought he could do this, but my own grandpa is a traitor to our country.

Kind of in a dark mood. I know it's obviously too early to think about this for most of us, but humor me with a hypothetical. Out of all the possible outcomes, which of the poll options WOULD be your biggest regret if it were true? Which is more important to you?

To be honest, not too long ago I was sad that I'd miss out on a whole lot of things. I would be gone and the world would keep spinning. I'd miss cool advances in technology, new installments in my favorite franchises (I'll be dead before any 100th anniversary celebration of a game I care about, those I'm sure will be BIG), or new things that I MIGHT have liked had I been around to see them.

But thinking more on it, there's so much to the world right NOW. I will be most sad at the end of my life if I didn't experience all that I could. Which is why I plan on working as hard as I can to be successful and well, see as much as I can see, learn as much as I can learn. I don't want to die having never left my home country, at least.

So, let's say you have mystically acquired the ability to bring fictional characters from any medium to life. They retain all their abilities and skills from their own medium, no matter how little sense it makes in the context of reality. Also, they'll be accomodated with whatever resources they normally have in their own medium. What they'll do when they get here depends entirely on their character, however. You have no control over them.

What would be your top three to bring to life?

My choices would be

1. Superman

2. Sherlock Holmes

3. I dunno...Hatsune Miku? I can't even think of a third one myself.

Let's say you're inordinantly lazy and REALLY just want to drop a few dollars for a quick breakfast. Which fast food joint do you think has the better breakfast selections?

Personally, I think McDonalds is better overall. But gosh dang could I really lose myself over those Burger King french toast sticks and cinnamon rolls.

Sky Sanctuary is supposed to speak for both Sonic 3 and SnK. (It's often seen as one game) Sonic CD is referenced by the Metal Sonic boss fight, the entire thing was practically a remake of his CD appearance. ShtH isn't a Sonic game, and while Sonic 4's absence is strange (it can't be popularity holding it back, they included an 06 level.) there are a few reasons that would explain it. Perhaps Sonic Gen and Sonic 4 were being developed at times that would have made any references to Sonic 4 too difficult, or maybe it was that 4 by itself was supposed to be a nostalgic trip and a Sonic 4 level would be kind of redundant given Generation's goal.

As for missing portable games, it's clear from the level set-up that they just wanted a romp through the main series. Though I DO agree I wish there was more. I'd totally love levels like Wing Fortress or Hydro City to make an appearance. Or Lost World or Sky Canyon, etc.

It's true a lot more could have been done with the game. But when all is said and done the final product is very good, and we can always hold out hope for another Generations title for Sonic's 25th birthday. :O

A few things that I'd like to address, if only because I feel like I've seen the arguments before and they're never really talked about.

A) As for the notion that it is strange that God chose to reveal himself in the Middle East, rather than in more advanced nations of the world at the time, this actually sort of goes hand in hand with a running theme in the New Testament of the small being exalted and the great being humbled. Jesus himself was from a pretty bad town that was the butt of jokes. (Can anything good come from Nazareth?, or something similar, was actually a quote mentioned in the Bible) Probably the ancient version of New Jersey. Not only that, Asia and Rome, etc., WERE ministered to by the Apostles.

B) As for Jesus being the Son of God being so incredible that the whole world would know, many people DID know and believed on Jesus. That's kind of the reason the whole religion exists in the first place. However, Jesus's work was being directly opposed by the head religious leaders of the time. He was called out by the religious leaders as being a blasphemer, and at one point Jesus was even accused of being influenced by dark forces. While Jesus performed many miraculous works, and may believed, there was an organized resistance against Him. These same religious leaders saw some of the works Jesus performed and STILL didn't believe. To think God's works in and of themselves are enough to convince someone that God exists, or that someone is even from God, well, look no further than the Old Testament, where God's own people would every so often turn from Him, despite some of the history they JUST experienced.

I was completely uninterested in the entire FFXIII saga after the first game came out and turned out to be a disaster. But THIS game is actually catching my interest, specifically because of its similarities to Majora's Mask, from the little information I've gathered on it.
