Review: BFME2 - The Beautiful Game With Minor Inequalities!

The Beautiful Game With Minor Inequalities!

Overview:
A lovely game that will capture the heart of any gamer that enjoys playing RTS'. With superb gameplay, fantastic graphics, immense sound and a top sequel to LOTR:BFME, this game really lives up to the high expectations that gamers expect to see from top game publishers and developers such as EA Games.

The Details:
This masterpiece is guaranteed to keep any gamer occupied for hours upon end. But is there something that is itching the back of your neck when you play this game? A little annoyance here and there? For me it is the frustration of “rush” games that most players tend to do whilst playing online. This is when players attempt to “rush” their opponent before they get a chance to strike with a force and prevent needed resources from being acquired. I didn’t like this in the original BFME game and nothing has prevented it from happening in BFME2. I prefer to build an empire before launching my attacks.

There would be a simple solution to this, Rise Of Nations uses a method of which the player can chose whether or not they want the AI to “Boom”, focus on building empires before assaulting, or rush that will make the AI focus on quick strikes.

If EA incorporated this feature into skirmishes for single player modes and multiplayer modes, it would easily solve my only real problem with this game making it nearly perfect! They could do this in the forthcoming expansion pack, Rise Of The Witch-King, however I doubt we will see any such changes unfortunately.

Summary:
We as human beings tend to focus on the bad points, and apart from my only query about this game, it is fantastic and absolutely wonderful game to play. I strongly recommend this game for any gamers, especially LOTR fans and RTS fanatics :D !

First Review: Guild Wars - Simply The Best

Guild Wars is by far the best MMOG out there and this is why, IN 3 BIG POINTS:

* Free subscriptions - buy it, play it, ace! This is how all MMOG's should be like. Buy the game for a one off fee and play it without having to subscribe. GW makes all their profits by releasing another expansion campaign to the original every 6 months (in which purchase is optional). So far Arena Net have released Guild Wars Factions and announced Guild Wars Nightfall with an upcoming F2P pre-view event in a couple of days time! A fourth campaign has been planned!
* Gameplay is superb! You can chose between a PvP role or PvE role and explore GW in 2 fantastic different paths. Skill selection is great, the maps are great, graphics are great, the storyline is great. What more could you ask for? Well I've been told that once you complete the game's missions there's nothing more you can do. Well that firstly isn't true, you could always take up the role of PvP, unlock all the skills, chose a different profession to develop etc. But in case that wasn't enough, when GWF was released an update for all GW GWF accounts meant that players could now earn titles. These represent a player’s true charisma, and encourages players to complete more of the game to earn them. For example, a player can now spend time trying to get hero titles by doing a lot more PvP.
* A great environment to play in. I have found when playing on lots of MMOG’s that many of the environments aren’t very enjoyable to play in because there are far too many scammers and account hackers (I’ve also found that there tend to be more of these in games where you can pk). In GW the atmosphere is extremely pleasant and there are very little scammers there at all! GW have also announced that they have removed, apparently thousands of accounts (that I was completely unaware of) using bots to help improve player’s gaming by cheating!
