The only negative of this game is that i won't be able to play because i don't own a switch T_T . I played the F out of necrodancer and this looks even better .
@rotchild@doublem-k: Mods didn't just improve some games , they changed and are still changing the gaming landscape to this day. Counter strike completly changed how every shooter approach competitive multiplayer modes and is still being played today . Dota a mod for wc3 not only created a whole game genre that spawned hundreds of games but pretty much made Esport a thing and it's influence is still seen in newer game today of other genre . Dayz a mod for Arma pretty much spawned this whole survival game craze and let's not talk just how many more crazy gaming hours you can add on some games by adding mods . Hell even the new battleroyale craze started from a mod .
And yes there is tons of mods for gta5 that are fun to toy with. When you look at something like Complex Control that changes the game completly into some roguelite single player battle royale esque with a tons of abilities and permadeath that might add tons of additional hours to the game if you enjoy it , i consider the game improved.
doublem-k you have a problem with cheaters , not mods. If mods didn't exist, cheaters would still be cheating using thier aimbots and speedhacks and whatnot to ruin your day because they think it's funny .
If cheaters make it into the multiplayer part of the game that's on Rockstar to bolster thier anti cheat systems . If you want to blame something , blame the human garbage that gets off ruining other players fun with thier hacks and not the mods.
@Thanatos2k: Simple case of double dip. Release on console first so ppl that can't wait buy it and then release on pc later so many will rebuy the game again to play on thier gaming pc. It's the best move to make the most monnaayy.
The gameplay has to be top notch or it won't interest me and we know it's hard to be as good as from software for souls like gameplay. Maybe if the coop is easier to get into it might score a bit higher for me since the whole ''having to redo every zone twice'' dark soul coop was a chore when i felt like playing with a friend .
But right now i don't expect the game to be more than a 7. From what the little we seen , the demo lvl seemed bland in term of design. The gameplay looked allright but we won't know until we try. The skill/equip system seems interesting and the character creation seems cool tho.
It all comes down to how much they polished the game since last year really .
