@crimsonllama: You do realise how many places there are to sleep in the game don't you? Why don't you play the game as it is with fast travel enabled? F4 offers many options to switch on or off outside of just the difficulty levels.
@kalarro: Get ambushed and die. Shit, I'll just reload my every 15 second save and now I'll know exactly where I get ambushed. Mob doesn't drop a loot item you really want. Shit, I'll just reload a save and try again until I get something better. I could go on and on about game saves completely deleting any and all challenges in a game. Knowing that your going to lose all the time you've spent playing since your last save while sleeping adds tension to gameplay that you can't get otherwise. Be better, be careful and save in one of the 'many' beds that's found throughout the game. Nothing wrong with that at all.
@PrpleTrtleBuBum: Carriages or boats, nope its a Wasteland not Skyrim or The Witcher. They do have Vertibirds as part of the Brotherhood of Steel faction. Throw a flare and they'll pick you up and take you wherever you would like to go, angry teens forget this option though, they're too busy getting upset because their instant Star Trek the Next Generation fast travel went south.
@iohannfus2015: Why did The Witcher 3 release a NG+ option as a download after release? By your logic CDPR released an unfinished game also. Lets not mention the literally hundreds of other games that have had the same treatment. Its 2016, not 1992, DLC, addons, patches, etc are going to happen.
@Daveof89: Fast travelling is for casuals. It completely removes the game save redesign which is 'the' number one difficulty factor in this mode. So you can only save while sleeping but you're suggesting that fast travel should be allowed? Really? Do you understand the concept behind why they're making you save only when sleeping? Your solution, fast travel to your bed and save the game... Good job sonny, now lets leave game development to game developers shall we.
Hardcore mode in NV was laughable, it wasn't difficult, it was pointless. I once got a debuff in NV from lack of sleep. You know what I did, I fast travelled all the way across the map to a house and went to sleep for a few seconds. Gone, continue.
