Nah - if they wanted to controll the people fuleing it, they'd hve released a statement saying it wasnt to do with the review. This has been done in too dirty a manner for it to be a rumor.

All this just happened. It takes some time to release a statement.

It hasnt though. Word has just spread about it, but they rekon hes been gone a week now, he wasnt on thehotspot so it happened before tuesday anyway. and how long does it take to say "we got ridof jeff for reasons other that the Kayne and Lynch review, and thats all we can say now." That would seem logical to calm down all these rumors, and it tok literally 5 seconds to type/say.

Ok so after all the latest controvsy regarding Jeff Gerstmann's removal from Gamespot, i can't help but feel one thing - Gamespot wont bearound this time next year.

Honestly i dont know how it can, with its complete loss of intgrity and honour it will be laffed upon by others in the business and i supsect alot of people will seek reviews elsewhere (i know im gona be alot more sceptical about the ones on here.) Alredi paying subscribers are cancling their subscriptions - and so they should. Everyones doing their part to let Cnet know they've messed up - big time - and eventually it will get to the point where Cnet say "screw it lets can gamespot!"

I look forward to what the future holds and would personally like to see Jeff set up his own website. I would hope that if he does he can make it as good as (if not better) than Gamespot was...lets say a week ago, and i would hope that if he does, many editors from Gamespot at the moment would join his website over this.

So ive jus tried to write a review on that abysmall game known as Kayne And Lynch: Dead Men - and user reviews are disabled.

i jus worked this problem out today.

The game itself is open mic so you dont have to press any buttons - but go to the options menu and change the voice volume off 0. For some silly reason its 0 by defualt. Talk away.

HMMM - wouldnt any manchine be able to do this. Surely its all down to programming for the games rather than th hardware itself.

Maybe tho yeah, but will 4D really change anything?
