How is the 8800gts 320mb expensive??? that is the best card for the money. It doubles the performance of a crappy ati 1950 pro.

fIRST VIDEO THE GAME WAS LAGGY AND THE RESOLUTION WAS LOW, COMPARE THE 1950PRO WITH THE GAINWARD BLISS 7800GS 512MB+ THEN COME TELL ME THIS AND THAT. YOUR BETTER OFF WITH AN 8800GTS FOR SURE.

Yes it will be good at playing games. Maybe 7900gs level but on medium/high setings not maxed out. Also you will be getting dx10 with that video card. See what I would do though is wait untill the 8900series comes because then the 8800gts 320mb will go down in price aswell so your choice but thst video card you chose will do until next year.

/wait i have seen the new bridges and they are dual bridges so using your 7800gtx bridge will not work because of them being dual.

You should try to use two bridges. I dont know maybe its a new thing because the new cards have so much bandwidth. why cant you try what that guy said in the post above. You enable multi gpu when you have "1" card in the slot then when multi gpu is enabled then plug the other card in.Or just try two bridges.

with that processor you wont max out anuthing these days you need a conroe. try getting a e6600 conroe it will blow the amd out of the water and its only $225, the video card since your upgrading try for ans xtx version of the 1950 or get a 2900xtx or just get a 8800gts 320mb then you will be able to max out most games.

The stock cooler for the 8800gts will do just fine unless you are looking to overclock the system past 8800gtx speeds.
