I hate to admit when I make a mistake and unfortunatley buying AC was a huge mistake (even though I wasvery hyped about it). I made an analogy to explain why I felt so dissapointed in the game . In baseball we know the best home run hitters, base stealers, defensive players etc. because they stand out in that one specific aspect of the game. Even though they may have flaws we look past them as fans becuase they over compinsate by specific excellence. However, we rarely ever talk about the players who are mediocre at everything. They could have comparable abilities to fav. players but we look past them. AC is a mediocre player. They throw many different elements at you stealth, combat, exploration, etc. and do not complelty suceed at any of them. This game is a rent becuase it is hard not to be dissapointed with this title.
I said a couple of days ago that based on the hype of Halo 3, if it scores a 9.5 or lower it will be a flop. After reading the review from IGN it seems this game has flopped. All the hype centered around the whole "Finish The Fight" slogan, which obviously reffered to the Campaign/Story mode, a campaign mode that IGN have bashed for being too short and having an overall confusing story. Now if the selling point of the game is the and story (as far as the media hype goes), and the story pretty much sucks, then the game pretty much flops.
Another thing that was crticised was the graphics. They really don't show off the power of the 360 like Halo 1 and 2 did for the original XBOX. This looks just like Halo 2 in HD with some fancier effects.
Of course the rest of the game was rated decently when it comes to overall gameplay, multiplayer, extra content, etc but I think all the Fanboys will have to admit that this turned out to be another Halo 2.

Halo 2 was such because of the cliff hanger, Thats why it was a dissapointment. After coming off such a gripping story line from Halo ce it felt like a let down. God play these games before you criticize and call them flops, or let downs
[QUOTE="SanMononoke"][QUOTE="usmcjdk6"]About a good cool month after it came out?
My synopsis?
Condemned was way more revolutionaryin terms of FPS; in fact, just better in style, technique, graphical presentation. It was just...better.
Bioshock is overrated.

About a good "cool" month?
Then you said the wordsynopsis, I figured you didn't know what it meant and stopped reading. I won't take any idiots "cool" opinion seriously
are you trying to sound smart, you do know that synopsis means summary not a opinion
Red OBVIOUSLY you don't know how to understand sarcasm. I was only reinterating what the TC said. So don't criticize me on not knowing what synposis means when MY JOKE revolved around it. Some of these people on these sytems wars man, don't know anything

I stopped watching after somewhere over Russia
Actually looked cool, I used to love those typoe of arcade shooters. I would buy it if it came to 360
STOP! Is this game going to be great? Yes (Amazing infact, Im a big fan) Is it going to sell PS3's? No, MGS has its user base and will probably only sell up to and around 3 million copies, and please DO NOT hype MGS storyline, Im sorry but I think that at times in the serious it was beyond ridiculous. I remember the biggest down fall of Liberty was to many uneeded twist, which made out for a story line that was too far reaching. AAA probably, most likely. AAAA? no not revolutionary, and seems like metal gear with better graphics
