Ok solid game play. Very broken story. As for the cheap rushed second half. 10 out of 10, me thinks not! 7 at best.

Yes I have played a few MMO’s as well. A well-crafted MMO is like a home. You need to make commitments.

Kevin has learned his lesson well, give a quick review of a MMO and be punished for not picking up on the lack of end game content. Hence I applaud his efforts to spend the appropriate time in the game but, if you’re going into the experience thinking 50 levels DING! Let’s get the review to the press. (And yes Kevin I was listening to your in game commentary.)

Everyone has an opinion, but do yourself a favour and go to the review tab now and look at the other games which picked up a 6.

Speaking as a similar vintage player, here is a sad reality, you are an old reviewer. By that, yes I mean you are jaded, from the very first impressions to now you played ESO like a JOB, a choir, a big MMO that to be reviewed had to be played from Beta to lvl 50. All your statements reeked of “I’m over the grind”.

The game would have been better serviced by having a 20 yr old something look at it with fresh eyes.

By the time I read your preview, I myself had started to hit the fast forward through the dialogue and then I thought about your comments and realised I was doing exactly the same thing, grinding through the MMO. I decided to slow down and smell the roses. If you had stepped back and looked at it with fresh eyes you would have been embarrassed and ashamed to give it a 6. This is a BIG game. Each Zone would swallow most first release MMO’s Yes you are rewarded for exploration and can easily head off in any direction in a given Zone. Linear, you missed the point.

My one gripe would be the linking up with friend’s issue. I totally agree it’s poorly implemented but.

For an MMO

·Crafting brilliant,

·Story, forget the core story it’s all the little zone ones, like Skyrim are brilliant

·PVP Epic, never have I seen such a bug / lag free massive PVP.

·Classes, yep agree been there done that.

·Journey to 50, a treat, never board.

No it’s not a 10 but it’s definitely an 8.

The only thing you’re 6 tells me for this game is you need either a nice long holiday or career change.

Actually TSW is going from strength to strength with the B2P move, it's definitely one of the best MMO's out there. Sad news on the company downsize, I hope they can fix the company with these moves but as above it's not TSW.
