Well. Yesterday I was invited in friend to go to a anime convention and of course I will go (like I'd skip that XD). Afterwards, we headed down to the Mall of Asia and headed straight to the convention.
The front entrance was full of people of different......costumes XD (imagine naruto, bleach, sailor moon, cardcaptor sakura, hellsing, FF X-2, and others on the same line XD). If a normal human being (who doesn't watch anime of course) was there he would confuse that place for a costume party rather than an anime convention XD. Anyway, the line was so long that it circles the half the compund (and to think me and my friend was on the last T_T).
After an hour, we finally got in the compund then, again, back in the lines just to enter the convention. We entered fast after we got in.....but ALL THE LINES WERE SO TIRING (every location from the entrance of the compound to the entrance of the convention has long lines T_T).
Back to the convention (after all the lines). It was a fun place after all the effort we did just to get in. The moment we got in, at the middle they aired a cheering exhibition. Inside they had arcade games, anime goodies vendors, manga vendors, drawing contests, games like PC exhibitions and mountain climbing games, cosplaying locations, anime organizations booths, and, of course, the food shops. The place was a blast. It was also full of people with different reasons for going there: cosplayers (my classmates), slackers, band players, anime fans (me), girl hunters (my friend XD), and wierd people who just went there to sit in chairs XD.Too bad my friend didn't bring a camera XD.
Anyway, I was pretty silent at the time (I'm not really THAT interested at anime to the point of cheering and cosplaying for them).....until I saw at one booth one of the games I liked...Melty Blood XD. My friend haven't had the strength to take me out of there until we had to search for our classmates XD. It was like the same for him when found the manga store. I couldn't force him even the slightest to get out of there XD.
At the end (exactly 4 PM) we finally gone home. We didn't watch the bands play because my friend was being fetched by her mother (talk about curfew XD). Any we had fun: we met many people, we got info about various anime shows (the underground ones), knew that I had skillz in arcade gaming (believe me, I did'nt know my own strength XD), and I ,myself, met a new friend who likes the same genre in anime and games as I do (he's more extreme than me XD).
