I usually look at the review and determine what i'll get. Sometimes that doesn't work like Dead Rising.

Some people use Gamespot religiously, do you use it much to choose what you play?

I look at the score that the reviewer gave the game and complare it to the user rating. If it's too different, say a 6 reviewer and a 8 user, than i'll youtube public opinion reviews, and see why they gave it a higher rating.

i'd like to add that i never ever hear Kids scream over Xbox live and on Halo 3 when i play, and i have played like over 1500 games by now Both Ranked and Social! Its just total bullcrap to put down Halo 3 online community...Triplekill

You honestly have no clue what you are talking about . If you took 6 months off from gaming completely , i would bet my life that when you came back , you would put up better scores on CoD4 than you would Halo3 .

CoD4 takes almost no skill . Unless of course you think laying in a bush for 5 minutes so you can shoot unsuspecting people with 1 or 2 bullets takes skill . That is how the vast majority of people play CoD4 .

Not even close. GoW isn't even worth it's own cost let alone warrant buying a 360. Gears of War is the type of game that you'll beat in one day, play the multiplayer for 2, and never touch again. It's just a mediocre game fueled by hyped and 9 year olds. Worth renting for the production values.GodLovesDead

It just depends on the type of headset you have. The one i have doesn't have the plug-in you see above, and it works fine.

That controls volume/mute. My headset just has the controls in the middle of the cord.
