This is a long-running poll series that I have been doing over on FAU (Film Appreciation Union).

I have never been so sickened in my time on this site.

In the year 1977, Star Wars, possibly the most popular movie of all-time was released. Today I made the "Best Movie of the Year: 1977" thread. And a moderator has sabotaged it by editing every post to be a vote for his favorite movie, Star Wars. No more votes for Eraserhead, Annie Hall, The Duellists, etc (which I had seen before the edits). It's embarrassing and sad to see the people who help run the GameSpot community resort to such childish antics. I would like to know who came up with this brilliant idea and see them be removed from the moderator staff. And a personal apology in my inbox as well, as this is going to be quite a pain in my rear to tally.

Much apologies if this is the wrong place to go. I considered "Ask the Mods" but I technically was not moderated so I did not go there. And before you ask if I know its an officer, I have already discussed the issue with them in the union's IRC chat.

Probably. Once he starts banging a starlet like JT did with Britney, he'll get more popular. Then he'll get movie roles since he *is* pretty marketable. May even get into big movies like Timberlake did with The Social Network. I'd say he has a pretty good chance of becoming a mainstream star for all ages.

It was alright. I went in expecting another great Coen brothers film, and what I got was just a fine western on it's own. It's a great looking film and it boasts some damn good performances, but I can't say I was impressed with anything else.sammyjenkis898

I agree with this word-for-word p much.

I thought this movie was pretty bad, as did the rest of my family. I'm not going to go into detail as to why I thought so, because I don't want the "professional film critics" of this site shoving their views down my throat. I had high hopes for it, but alas, I was disappointed. I never saw the original True Grit either. For those who saw it, what did you think?
