After years of false starts and straying from my path, I'm finally doing it. What started as a series of experimental shots, quickly turned into an improvised surrealist film called, "Fine Line". Filming started on May 17th and I hope to finish by the middle of June, before my summer classes start up. If all goes well, I'd like to start working on my second film in July, followed by the third in August. The three films will be part of a loose trilogy that I'm creating. The main focus of the series will be on madness within the confines of an apartment building. Not only am I producing, writing and directing the series, but I'm acting in them as well. I definitely have my work cut out for me, but I have the drive to keep going forward.

Bye, Bye Movie Palace

I tried to leave the Movie Palace a few minutes ago, only to find out that I've already been kicked out. It's a shame in a way, because there seemed to be some nice recruits on there. It's just too bad that the "officers" were so childish ( namecalling, tsk, tsk ) and rude. I guess I'll have to keep my film discussions on IMDb, where some people actually know what they're talking about.

My $1800 camera package came the other day, which I'll be using later on in the spring, to make my first feature. I'm keeping busy and working on my script, which I hope to finish by the end of January. I'm really excited about it, but at the same time, I'm ticked. Because of my writing, it has really put a dent in my gaming habits. I occasionally play a game of Madden '06, or a couple of multiplayer runs in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, when writer's block sets in, but other than that, I really don't play much. I can't. I have to stay committed to my writing. In the spring I'll have to stay committed to acting, directing and editing. I hate to say this, but I may have to delay my purchases of all 3 next-gen systems ( Rev ? ), until my film is complete.
