great game, definitely worth the buy; it can get very repitive if you're the type that wants to beat every single side mission and explore everything there is to explore, though. i've beaten it 3 or 4 timesand enjoyed it very much every time and i don't typically beat the same game over and over.

WAW has a much more gritty feel to it than MW did; I think the did dismemberment in WAW is done to the correct amount and doesn't need any more; itadds to the gamebecause ofthe feel of the game. MW or MW2 won't need as much dismemberment because the overall feel of the game won't demand it.

call of duty (MW2) will probably be a lauch title for nextbox...make this topic again in 3 years lol.
What? Its coming out in the fall...?How about we wait for MW2 to come out, mmk??
agreedLol, I totally agree with you. I just beat it on veteran about 3-5 days ago, and wow, it was hell. Once u get to "Burn em out" (i think that's the one), you'll just want to break ur game in half. Also, for me the level called "Heart of the Reich" (second last level) was glitched, and even though I got to the very end, killed all enemies, and completed all objectives, nothing happened. I had to re-play the whole level, from beginning to end.

I agree with you 100% on those 2 levels.
In no way does playing the game on veteran bring the game down. If its too hard or not fun, play it on an easier difficulty if that's more fun to you. Veteran is supposed to be really hard and it does require a lot of skill to beat it, not sheer luck.It ispretty stupid how they spawn in the same spots so it makes it feel like more of learning where they are going to spawn after they kill you the first time, but that doesn't make the game itself worse, it makes the veteran campaign worse. COD4 campaign felt much to the same as WAW campaign but the guns aren't as strong so it seemsa little harder.Grenades are bad but they aren't THAT bad. If you just sit behind a wall and don't shoot anything, they should just throw grenades at you- that's whatI would do to you. Also, you complained about your teammates not doing anything- throwing grenades is about the only they actually are good for.
WaW has better features such as Nazi Zombies (extremely addictive), online co-op for 4-players, death cards, and in my opinion the better campaign, but if all you're concerned with is the best competetive multiplayer experience then I'd go for CoD4. WaW's is still fun - great actually, but CoD4's is a bit stronger due to small things like better maps without some of the spawn problems WaW still faces, and better weapons (matter of opinion of course). I think both are awesome and worth owning though.

Definitely correct about the campaign and extras. I've played bopth extensively online and beat both campaigns and both campaigns are very good, i think WAW has a better campaign. As far as online is concerned, most people don't like WAW as much online because it is much harder than MW. In general, the guns are not as effective at killing people and can be very frustrating. WAW has a little bit of added little things to online multiplayer but nothing to get hyped about. If you wanted to play better campaign/play with friends- should have gotten WAW
