@R4gn4r0k: lol what? GTA V is far more advanced then GTAIV.

Care to give examples?

GTA V is a technological downgrade from GTA IV in almost every single way:

You were saying? You can also easily mod all the cut things back into GTA V while you can't mod the huge list of improvements from GTA V to GTA IV.

Lol at everyone assuming it will be on PC. Considering Japan's disposition towards the PC platform, it is far more likely that the sales of Octopath Traveler will decide if we even get the FF7 remake.

You mean the same disposition to the PC platform where there are literally more Japanese games coming to PC than Xbox One?

I also remember the lousy performance, screen tearing, and weak resolution on the 360 version.

Launching 1 full year after 360, the PS3 retailed for $600 vs the 360's $400 price. One year later and $200 more expensive and it struggles so much to keep up with 360. They had to rework the entire game, LMFAO!

Sounds like the whole PS4 VS X1 thing, LMFAO!!

It's cute seeing folks who claim power doesn't matter get all excited about power again when next console it iteration is just going to offer more reliable and refined experiences. Be prepared for more CG BS being passed of as in game for the same fools to be suckered again.

It's cute how you guys where just the same at the start of the gen.

damn that looks nice but destruction in video games i feel is never fully utilized. I feel like devs don't want to put in the time for that shit or we would have more games by now with similar destruction to the battlefield series.....

Kinda.

It's probably uber tedious say a game like TLOU where you can break the house down almost piece by piece to create a dynamic environment with AI smart enough to traverse any instance of that rubble that doesn't look awkward. Now it's gonna be also hard to render that if it's a city unless we do ps3 graphics/resolutions.

Some of these are good for backdrop I suppose and maybe some areas like dropping rubble to damage enemies but not like you can't do this already.

I think the video is a poor showing of the physics dynamic nature as a lot I saw could probably be done in current gen in real time limited instances.

Yeah, it doesn't seem "fully realized" in that vid. Need to see more.

Chaos is rolling out with the next official engine update next week for those interested in trying it. I am certainly excited for the possibilities.

The next version is 4.22, Chaos comes in 4.23, so it's still a little while longer until we can play with it.

Hot damn! That look good! This is what was supposed to be in Crackdown 3 and if MS ever were to do another Crackdown game, they better be using that Unreal Engine.

Crackdown 3 was already using UE4, so they'd just need to update to the newest branch.

Don't ever use sharpening. Just don't.

You really like blurry graphics. Are you a spokesperson for Vaseline?

Sharpening is a filter that doesn't really makes anything sharp, it is really just a border enhancer, which makes the image really terrible to see. Digital image doesn't need a sharpness filter because it doesn't get any interference whatsoever from the source.

More on this here:

https://www.cnet.com/how-to/turn-down-your-tv-sharpness-control/

You can read about this in any forum and anyone who knows how to calibrate a TV will turn the sharpness off. It has no purpose on a 0/1 world.

Please do not make comments about stuff you clearly know nothing about.

Are you sure that you know what you're talking about? Because your post if full of bollocks.
