Not to be picky but there are different ways to build a game.

Crysis might be doing everything at once (not using any placeholders). Bungie is using placeholders then slowly revemping the graphics.

Crytek were using placeholders from Far Cry aswell...... :lol:

Dont beleive me check 06' screens - there are Far Cry textures there...

My screens dont seem to be appearing so here is a link

OH San Andreas was much better than Vice and GTA3.

The huge expansive enviroment was wonderful - offering a variety of terrain instead of the same old.

It was refreshing to explore the country side, deserts.

Harley, on the freeway, across San Andreas.. FTW! 

Downgrade?

 Umm its not that simple.

 There is use of compressed and uncompressed audio, textures ect.

The PS3 + 360 versions might look slightly different, but they will both have the same game worlds.

360's may have more compression thats all.

Hell we dont even know if it will use up to 8 - 12gbs........ 

Wait until ATI releases its cards to upgrade your PC.

There will be a MIGHTY slump in prices then.

RAM is actually quite cheap now.

I was going to buy an 8800 GTS and I bought the GeOW 360 premium pack, Dead Rising, and a VGA cable instead (though trading in my original Xbox).

Worth it :) 

How could you believe these screens? The ground looks exactly like CGI... Not even Crysis looks that good.

Dude these screens, even if they are fake, arent THAT "zomg uber fantastic".

Crysis creams them, as does bioshock.

Hell so does UT3 and GeOW.

Oh the 'pre alpha' isnt much of an excus, as Crysis just moved into alpha (in recent weeks), UT3 is pre alpha, and so is Bioshock..
