Scrubbins Blog

I is back...

...For the new season of Scrubs. Which means a another new icon and moar blogginess!

Now I don't have anything to say. Why? Its because I discuss too much on MSN anyway and I get loads more feedback in an instant chat. Maybe I'll think of something to discuss soon.

(You haven't forgotten me, have you?)

Edit: I am still on the forums, but overloaded with school work.

Turkey

Wow, I really haven't written a blog in ages because I prefer to read others. But this may be my last one until Scrubs Season 7 starts. Laziness-1, Me-0.

Obviously, no-one wants to hear me ramble on about the various activities of my holiday, no that would be boring. So firstly i'll show you what its like to fly with the most poorly organized flight operators known to man.

We left home at about 2pm, giving us loads of time to get across London to Stanstead airport, the only airport in London that I hadn't been to. The traffic was horendous but I expected that.

The airport was cool because it was new and shiny! Even the toilets were shiny and they had dyson jet hand-dryers... Ooooo! I watched season 2 of Family Guy on ipod for the rest of the time at the airport, until a lady announced that our flight was delayed. I squeezed in another 3 episodes before we heard on the loudspeaker that our aircraft had landed in the wrong airport :x. This meant that us and the passengers had to go to Gatwick airport by coach. Madness!

We flew with "Onur Airways", that's right, we got Onur, everyone got onur :P.

Turkey basically had what a holiday should have... beaches, 24/7 sun, cheap food and rocky coastal mountains to drive around, although its too touristy for my liking. Another thing was the heat, the temperature on our first day measured 40c, which is way too hot to relax in, let alone walk in. At the start I said I wouldn't talk about the various holiday activities but I have to mention just 1, the diving. It was the highlight of the holiday and I got a beginner's certificate :) Argh! my ears are still hurting from it.

Since there are so many tourists, there are so many restaurants, all with their very own Hassleman. A hassleman is a guy that stays outside the restaurant, spying and targeting hungry foreigners to ask them if they want to eat in their restaurant. These people get annoying and eventually you have to completely ignore them. Even if you take one step in their direction, they start to immediately hand you a menu and shove you in a seat. But we could be picky as there were so many restaurants to choose from.

Oh, tonight I'll have my dinner at....

Mmmm, it looks tasty!

(Flight coming back was also delayed 2 hours. Damn you Dis-Onur Air!)

Water Skiing

I don't have much time to write so I will just do a small blog.

A few days ago, me and some of my other class mates drove 5 hours west of London to a cool activity centre.

On the day of arrival, the weather was awful but there was no time to lose and we jumped straight into activities. The first activity that day was tunneling and it had been raining for at least a day, so most of the underground tunnels were blocked off :(. But, after that rainy day, things did start to get much better (and warmer), which meant I could enjoy the activities like canoeing, climbing and abseiling.

The next 4 and a bit days were absolutely great and I decided that my favourite activity was indeed water skiing (It was a great feeling, standing up on the skiis[and falling off]). Big, muddy and wet bouncy castle slope closely followed as 2nd favourite. The staff were amazing, and I would definatly go back there if I had the chance.

In other news, I changed my banner to a photo I took in Tampa, Florida, when I went to Busch Gardens (Which I think was better than all of Disney World).

Annnnd finally, my avatar, I don't like it anymore so I will be changing it soon. Any suggestions?

Farewell Everyone.

I am sure going to miss all you people...... because i'm going on a school trip for 5 days :P.

No, I am not leaving tv.com, that was to hook all the idiots in, and appearently it worked! ;)

Tomorrow (Monday), I will be leaving home for North Devon (situated in the bottom left hand corner of England). Since I live in London, it will probably be about a 5 hour coach drive, and throughout the coach journey, I will sleep. Who needs to look at the beautiful countryside, sleeping is more important!

My best friend George persuaded me to go on the trip. But I originally didnt want to go because I hate losing things and I am the only one that keeps my things tidy in the dorm. The rest constantly lose stuff, and have all their clothes flung over the place.I think my tidyness is a result of my attention defecit disorder, but it depends because some people with the disorder can be really messy and others can be sqeaky clean. But this doesn't mean im some cleanliness freak, I do relax the tidying in my bedroom. Anyway, I don't need to moan about aches and pains, so I will tell you about my Saturday.

Like Alex, I too had a "Funday" - Bands and choirs singing and playing, candyfloss, doughnuts, bouncy castle, photographers, food stalls, wine stalls, you know, the whole shabam (I escaped from singing in the choir). And I tried to look at as much as possible and contribute a couple of pounds to the fund raising. But unfortunately, I was stuck on a wine stall, with my mum , while my other mates bounced on Mr. smiley clown face bouncy castle (we are all so mature).

Of course, I would rather body slam my friends on a bouncy castle, but cash was quickly rolling in and they were short of helpers. So there I was from 12 till 4, handing out bottles of wine, gin and Tia Maria.

In the end it wasn't all bad, as I knew that I helped my school in fund raising. I got some half price doughnuts and some free lollipops as well so whoop-de-doo.

In other extremely average news, I created a Sploofus Scrubs quiz that you might want to do. Its all on season 6 topics. You can do it here!

Well that is all for a couple of days.

So I leave you with these lyrics. Comment back on who you think the Artist is:

"Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away..." Hint: 80's tune.

When Im Cleanin' Windows

I had a fairly regular Saturday in the sense that I did what I planned to do.

I get up around 10am on Saturdays because, at 11am I go to a badminton class. Today, it was their open day, so me and my dad played doubles against other people. We did four games and I didn't play to the best of my ability so i only won 1. But it was all worth itin the end because a guy came to play that was ranked 10th in the UK and I learnt quite a lot off him, epecially foot momement.

After two sweaty hours, me and my dad had a burger and went home. Normally, I would go home, have lunch, watch some TV/.com and procrastinate about playing piano. But since I already had a burger, I decided to go with my mum and dadto decorate an apartment.

The apartment has been empty for quite some time and the longer it stays empty, the more money we are losing so we had little time to decorate and get some new tenants in. It had already been decorated quite a lot as we had paid these two guys to decorate the bathroom and kitchen.

Today, I was in charge of cleaning windows. Luckily, I had a cool window cleaning set that has one of these

And one of these

, So I was in business.

A few hours passed and it was 8pm so we ordered a take-away, rented a video and bought some popcorn (which we did deserve after listening to my dad's very old ghetto blaster for hours on end).

I also bought a card and some port for my dad because its Father's Day tomorrow so he'll be pleased.

In other news, I am going down to Devon (south-west of uk) for 5 days. That is all for now!

Sunburn

First of all, I reached level 7. After being stuck on level 6 for quite some time, I got my act together and wrote a few more reviews which i'd been meaning to do for ages. I make it sound like a torture don't I?

Anyway, a couple of days ago was Sports Day or whatever you call it. (If you don't know what that is, then here). The weather was extremely average to be precise; a few small patches of blue sky, and the rest was cloud. Now, im in secondary school so the sports were based on track and field (none of those silly egg and spoon races). Luckily, there is a nearby track that is a 3 minute walk from our school. The day was very well organised and everyone did the events they intented to do (I did javelin and flopped it). The highlight of the day was watching the 100m sprint, and the winner got a time of 11.4 seconds. After all the events had come and gone, people departed from the track and went home.

But the most amusing thing I want to discuss, didn't happen until that evening. After Sports day, I went to hang out at my friend's place and we watched some family guy, Fast Animals, Slow Children! After a couple of chilled out hours, I realised I had sunsroke because I felt tired, hot and bothered... It must of been from being outside so long. Late evening came and my sunburn was killing me, I was red like a strawberry! Thankfully, I was off to sleep with a bit of Calamine lotion.

Now, was I going to walk into school looking like a strawberry or wouldn't people notice me? Turns out that everyone had sunburn, and my friend was feeling drowsy just after I left. If it wasn't for those damn clouds then people would of sat in the shade. There was even a teacher sunburn competition... The french teacher won .

Location fact - the track we went to is in Wimbledon.

Anyway, I know this is a silly blog post but I was feeling like writing one.

Music im listening to now: ELO - Mr. Blue Sky... hehe.

Teddy Out Cold!

I got a new avatar and its a good'n. I did manage to snapshot the pic in my media player and I couldn't stop laughing at it. Its right on the point where Dr. Kelso wants a "cat fight" so, as instructed, Ted knocks some papers out of this woman's hands and she gives him a hot one.

In other news... I ordered one of those rockety things that you chuck into the air and they make a whistling noise, great for parks and opens spaces! I think its called a Nerf Vortex Howler??

Goodbye all! dwefbhjygcgnfngthvhj..v.fbg. --- Sorry there's a fly on my keyboard.

ARGH! DIE! DIE, DIE, DIE! ROT IN HELL!

1 Submission, 1 More Level

After doing 1 submission, I have gone from level 5 at 60% to level 6! God, this system is messed up, and im not complaining.

My target level:

Oooh, level 36 looks sexy don't you think?

Which Scrubs Character Are You?

Deep down I thought I was a silly much like Turk or JD but this test begs to differ.

You're Doctor Cox!
Sarcastic and cynical, but deep down we know you care.
Sometimes it's ok to let that show.

 Take this quiz!

Misheard Lyrics

Now, moving a fair bit away from Tv, I have decided to post up some of the funniest Misheard Lyrics on the net. These are great for a laugh and you can make fun of yourself.

Chumbawamba: Tubthumping                                                                                              The real lyrics were:
I get knocked down but I get up again

But the misheard lyrics were:
I got no job but I'm an opera fan. AND. I get knocked down, by an oven mitt.

Nirvana: Smells Like Teen Spirit                                                                                            The real lyrics were:
Here we are now; entertain us.

But the misheard lyrics were:
Here we are now; we're contagious.

And my personal favourite misheard lyrics (not the song i hate barbie girl)

Aqua: Barbie Girl                                                                                                                                                    The real lyrics were:
I'm a Barbie Girl.... In a barbie world....Wrapped in plastic.. its fantastic.. you can brush my hair... undress me anywhere.....imagination my life is your creation!

But the misheard lyrics were as:
Im a Barbie girl... in this barbie world.... fight with plastic... what a spastic... you can cut my hair... and dress me anywhere... illimination... my life is plasticstation!

If you have some funny lyrics, please post them. I dont care how stupid it is.
