VMA's

It sucked on the most part. Bad host, bad place to hold it. The highlights of it were Rihanna, T.I., Leona Lewis, and Kanye West. I would say Christina, but what she really singing about? Leona's cover for Lil Wayne's "Misunderstood" gave me more chills. The T.I./ Rihanna collabo was great, "Live Your Life" is a good song. Lil Wayne pretty much sucked, "A Milli" and "Got Money" are getting annoying, I would want "Misunderstood" to be the next single if he didn't talk for 7 minutes about bullsh*t. He ruined "All Summer Long" for Kid Rock. Russel Brand, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Katy Perry can all go to hell for all I care. Kanye pretty much saved it, with his completely left field song "Love Lockdown" in which he sings with auto-tune. I guess he's still dealing with the pain of his mom's death. Poor Kanye :-(

2008- The Year Of Tha Carter III

I am so f*ckin happy now. The most anticipated album of 2007 as well as Lil Wayne's masterpiece is dropping June 10, 2008. It is definately Weezy's year. The first single off the final 'Carter' album "Lollipop" gives us a hint of the level of creativity BM Junior has. Lollipop is also Wayne's first #1 on the Billboard charts. And of course I got to mention "A Milli", the mindf*ck of a record and Tha Carter III's second single. The beat is oh so ridiculous and as usual, Wayne kills it. He raps "It was like the beat was screamin 'Murder me!', and I'm a murderer, so I murdered it". A Milli remixes might also replace the skits that are usually on Carter albums. I forgive him on that, as well as the album cover, cuz the beat is that sick. I freestyled on it for 5 minutes straight, goddamn I can't wait to see that video. "Showtime" featuring Chanell will be the third single but has not been released yet. Other songs include:

"Eat You Alive" feat. Ludacris

"Party Control" feat. Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, & Timbaland

"Dinnertime"

"Let The Beat Build"

"Dr. Carter"

"Staring At The World"

As well as a track featuring Jay-Z and a track featuring David Banner & Brisco. All I got to say is.. C3!

I'm SO friggin tired: Chapter 3- Tha Carter III Leaks

I'm so tired of Tha Carter III songs getting leaked. Sure The Drought Is Over Pt. 4 is a great mixtape, but if all Lil Wayne's hottest songs already came out, what will I have to forward to in 2008. DipSet? Speaking of which, I'm sure Dukedagod Presents Dipset: The Eye of the Eagle will be garbage. DipSet hasn't made a good album since 2005. Dukedagod should get fired. Maybe Cam'ron's Public Enemy #1 mixtape will be good. I heard "Glitter", it had a nice feel to it.

What the hell is wrong with Bow Wow?

I mean, he should just quit the rap game. He sounds like every other rapper at this point. He obviously must a ghostwriter, that alone should get him booted him out of the game in my opinion. And lately, he tryna be Lil Wayne Jr. (which would make him Birdman the Third), immitating his rap style. You would agree with me if you heard his freestyles of "Brown Paper Bag", "Leather So Soft", and "White Girl" (coincidentally Lil Wayne rapped on all 3 songs). Omarion made a crappy decision to make an entire album with this sad joke of a rapper. Face Off is gonna suck, they're leaked single from said album, "Designated Driver", confirmed that. Oh Bow Weezy, what are we going to do with you.

My final thoughts and farewell to Harry Potter

Order of the Phoenix- was great but could have been better. Harry and Cho could have at least had more screen time for their relationship besides that make-out session in the Room of Requirements and them talking after winter break. Luna could have also had screen time to mention The Quibbler and her father. The battles were extraordinary as I depicted it, especially Voldemort vs Dumbledore. And it made your heart break when Sirius died and when Voldemort was taking over Harry. I give it 3 1/2 stars.

Deathly Hallows- marks the end of our Harry Potter trail. As you know, either Harry dies, or Voldemort. But it isn't who dies that is really and truly important, its how the story is concluded. I'm reluctant to find out what happens, because once I know, I'll never get back that mystery. I'll never have to venture the unknown for questions. In a metaphorical sense, the Harry Potter series represents childhood, with each book, the story gets darkerlike we grow older. Thats why I think when finish reading this last book of the series, we will be ready for adulthood.

And now I'd like to take this time to say goodbye to Harry Potter, not as the character, but as the series and as my childhood years. I know it may seem early to truly say goodbye, since the film adaptation will not be made and released until 2010, but the movies never really do justice to the books that inspired me as well as others to read, write, and to have an wild imagination. They never really do.

My review of Lil Wayne's latest mixtape

DJ 31 Degreez and Lil Wayne - WEEZYAVELI :: Weezy F. Baby Pt. 3

First Da Drought 3, then The Drought Is Over: The Carter 3 Sessions. Now Weezy has given us yet another mixtape to quench our thirst for Tha Carter III. Weezyaveli shows Wayne at his best. With singles like "1000 Degrees" and "Love Me or Hate Me" it is no wonder that Lil Wayne is 'the greatest rapper alive'.

Scuba's Spiderman 3 Review

I told you nothing cool would happen until May!

Spidey 3 was, in my opinion, one of the best movies of the decade, my only problem was them milking the hell out Peter having the black suit on. It was so corny the way he was strutting around town. The best part was when Spidey and Goblin Jr. (loved that nickname) unexpectedly teamed up to take down Venom and Sandman.

Best Quotes:

"Eddie, we only had coffee"-Gwen responding to Eddie's "What about that amazing night we had"

"I have to be honest with you, I'm the other guy"- Harry

"Ooh"- Peter/Spiderman responding to Harry's "I protected you in high school, but now I'm gonna kick your little ass!"

"You were nothing but an embarrassment to your father. Aww, you're like a little Goblin Junior, you gonna cry?"-Peter/Spiderman

"My spidey senses are tingling. If you know what I mean" -Eddie/Venom

"I like being bad"-Eddie/Venom

I'm SO friggin bored: Chapter 4- 2007 So Far & the DipSet/ G-Unit Beef

January- I barely went to school that month. When I got my report card for the semester I figured out I needed to get my sh*t together or else I'll fail History, Phys. Ed., Art Appreciation, English, and French.

February- Me and my friend Naomi got together (2/5/07), that was the only good thing that happened last month. I was so bored with music, I started listened to the Diplomats' old albums, before the whole 'DukeDaGod Presents' thing.

March- I realized that G-Unit should just shut the f*ck up with their DipSet beef. They're old news compared to Byrd Gang. I mean seriously, G-Unit hasn't been cool since '04. Meanwhile the Dips have stayed on top since they came out in '02.

I bet nothing cool is going to happen until May

the DipSet Vs. Roc-A-Fella/ Roc La Familia War

I'm amazed it actually escalated to this level, last year it was just Cam'Ron versus Jay-Z. But when Jim Jones came back out, Jay swallowed his pride and dissed Jim on that 'Brooklyn High' record, a rapper who I thought was now where near Jay's level. So him and Jim start goin at it, then Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, and JR Writer get in the beef. Memphis Bleek couldn't take it anymore, so he just comes out of nowhere and disses the whole DipSet with the newly signed Roc La Familia artist Tru Life. That's all I know right now, hopefully this war won't get any bigger, cuz it looks like DipSet is in the lead.

Big Movie News!

Harry Potter 7 finally has a real title, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS. And there are gonna be a lot of good sequels in 2007. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Spiderman 3, Shrek The Third, and the most anticipated one, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. That trailer was so awesome, I can't wait till June 15!
