I have a weird situation with MGS4, and I can't quite decide if I want to buy it. Now, try and look at this through my eyes. MGS3, I bought it, and I completely hate it, everything about it. I hate the way the story is presented, I hate the characters, I hate everything about the gameplay. I can say, without a doubt, that MGS3 is my least favorite game of all time. And here's where the big problem is, every person I ask about MGS4 will also tell me MGS3 is a good game.

Hey everyone, I'm getting a PS3 within a few days, so basically just go ahead and unleash on me the great games of the PS3. =) I'm mostly an RPG fan, but I see there are no RPGs aside from Valkyria Chronicles, and I'll be getting that. But, I love all games aside from sports/racing, so any other genre, definitely just point me in that direction. Also, I'd like to keep it to console exclusives, because all non-exclusives out I've already either gotten for that other console, or was not interested. Also also, I'd like to mainly be pointed towards games that are already out, so I can pick 'em up when I go to purchase my console, but if there's a great looking upcoming exclusive title that you think I should be keeping my eye on, don't be shy about telling me about that. x]

Hey everyone, finally going to be buying a PS3 within the next few days, and I need some game recommendations. =) I love everything from RPG to shooter, and, well, just about everything aside from sports/racing games. Please keep it to console exclusives for this thread though. Also, I'd like to keep it to things that are already out, so I can buy them when I get the console, but if there's something upcoming you really think looks great, and think I should keep my eye on, then don't be shy about pointing those out.

Believe me, I don't expect to find a single person on here. But, I've got to try. =\ It's just really, really boring around here.

So, I've been a hardcore gamer since I was a toddler, and I'm still going strong. Last year when SSB:B came out, I was strongly disappointed to find out there's just no one playing near me. Now I'm playing Street Fighter 4, and I have to say it'd be amazing if there could be a tourney scene here, even a small one of just a dozen people.

Please, if you're around here, speak up, let's get this crap going.

Hey, after years and years of putting it off, I've finally decided to knock out this series, but I'm not sure what's the best order to play them in!

Should I do it be order of release (MG, MG2, MGS, MGS2, MGS3, MGSPO, MGS4)

or by the order the games take play (MGS3, MGSPO, MG, MG2, MGS, MGS2, MGS4)
