So last night at a two dollar concert in my city, my three friends and I were passing around a joint. Many people were lighting up, and most of the crowd was blatantly drunk or on something much harder. So when the joint was passed to me two security guards walked right up to me and said, "Alright buddy your done, come with us" to which I replied what? I gave the guy the joint and was escorted out of the concert, and since my friend drove, he had to leave to drive me home. Now I understand it is illegal, and the security guards were technically doing their job, but why kick me out? I wasn't really disturbing anybodies concert experience unlike many of the loud and obnoxious drunks at the concert. I was wearing a polo t-shirt and flip flops, unlike many of the shirtless smelly hippies with backpacks likely filled with drugs. I told the guard that there was a lot worse things going on at the concert than what I was doing, to which he replied, "Were working on it" really are you now? So by kicking me out for smoking a joint you've made the crowd much safer, thanks guy... This whole experience really baffled me, and my question is what could be the possible logic for these guards actions?
