Wubi installs Ubuntu in such a way that, if you don't like it, all you have to do is uninstall Wubi from within Windows 7. It's easy-peasy. Is wubi what you linked earlier? Sorry for being an idiot, I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep.
It's a Linux operating system. I think it's pretty nice, and it's very organized. I don't know if Windows 7 is superior, though. Go to the main Ubuntu website, and get the trial version. It won't hurt to at least try it.ghoklebutter
