I was driving my SUV down the road and it was pitch black. All of a sudden, there's this huge bump so I get out to investigate....it was a person. A few months later, I got a messege saying, "I know what you did last summer.... :)" What's this all about? :(

Here's mine in a nutshell, 1. Girlfriend dumps me, accuses that I cheated with...my cousin? 2. Mall cops interrogate me like terrorist wrongfully. 3. Dog pisses on $150 shoes. 4. I hop on Facebook and find 13 comments on my wall, claiming that I'm a jerk and cheater. Here's a friend's weekend: 1. Gets mugged and thief steals expensive watch. 2. Goes to bank and gets caught up in an ATM robbery. 3. Falls asleep during insane traffic jam and wakes up to find HIMSELF causing traffic jam with people angrily passing by. 4. Drives to country house, goes out for dinner and finds car parked with wheels missing. Very unlucky...

I dont play WoW or any other MMORPG and this game looks like a heaping pile of trash. Saints Row: Online in other words.

My girlfriend left me. She had these suspicions that I was cheating on her...with my cousin. One long conversation and kick to the knee later, and I'm single. :):(:D:lol::cry:8) Two hours later I'm at the mall with my best buddy who was comforting me. So I'm alone in the food court while he goes to get some refills for our sodas. Three security guards come out of nowhere, dogpile me and drag me off to an interrogation room near the entrance. Apparently I was wearing the same Run DMC style Reebok hoodie as someone who stole some lady's shopping bags. On the way home, a dog pissed on my $150 Supras (shoes). When I got home, I got a phonecall from the aforementioned cousin and she told me that my crazy and now ex-girlfriend had spread some crazy rumors on Facebook...about me. Later on Facebook, I was down 13 friends, had roughly 13 comments left on my wall calling me a jerk and my GF's status that ripped on me was liked by 23 people. One of my friends from 5th grade now refuses to speak to me and I've gone from being a likeable and charismatic person...to being a jerk. :):(:D:lol::cry:8)

You don't have to buy or use any of those products or services. Vote with your wallet.

So...you're telling me that I DONT have to pay $5 every month just so I can play my games online on my 360? Then what? Buy a PS3....and spend $299 so I can evade paying $60 every year?

Is it me, or have developers and publishers becoming desperate? Here are my examples, 1. Buying DLC that is already on the disc or should have been there in the first place. 2. Paying a subscription to access half of your game (Xbox Live) 3. Making it almost impossible to navigate a website just so that you can cancel a subscription and then forcing the victim to call an Indian call center and pay something like $2.00 a minute, also covering the seemingly half hour long interval where you are put on hold (Microsoft) 4. Releasing rehashes year...after year...and not introducing anything new to the series(Activision) 5. Not including items vital to the product and forcing the user to purchase them. No HD cables for the Xbox 360 slim...what a joke. 6. Purchaseable avatar clothing. Nice touch, but not when its being forced down your throat with obtrusive ads everywhere. 7. DRM which prevents people who bought the game legitimately from actually accessing their products. 8. Shovelware! Listen. I like DLC. It greatly increases the longevity and lifespan of my RPGs and with map packs for shooters, fragfest Sundays will always be entertaining. I also believe in the developers being pad for their efforts. HOWEVER, I dont believe in forcing the player to purchase content that is already on the disc. I'm also for DRM, but not when you are gauranteed at least one call to a support line during installation a la Spore and the early days of Bioshock 2. Shovelware is inexcusable and so are rehashes, especially when they are merely killing the series like in Call of Duty. Now with avatars, I simply cant stand them. There's nothing quite like putting the disc in your tray then having to slide up two rows of menus related to advertizing over-priced avatar clothing. Xbox Live Gold is a joke and what happens once you strip away having to pay to play the game? Then the premium subscription become useless. Oh...and hi System Wars :D
