I'll get it day one, Fallout 3 is my favourite game. I'll subscribe to a games rental company for a month and get all the DLC for free when they've been released in a year or so.
Probably a new engine, the old one's been kicking around for too long now. I'm guessing HL3 and L4D3, both on the aforementioned new engine. Although none of these being announced would be particularly shocking.
I think WAW was hindered more by having to set it during WW2, people don't relate to that as much as modern times. It's like watching a film set in the 1960's; it may have a great story and acting but I won't enjoy it as much as a film set in the present day. I enjoyed WAW more than MW2 though, it had co-op and it was harder to achieve the veteran achievements; in MW2 I waltzed through veteran in 2 days. Plus it had zombies which gave it the edge over other COD's (although multiplayer sucked).
Black Ops is looking really good, and usually I don't like to get too excited about things. The use of currency, 4 different F4A gametypes including a gun game (exactly like counterstrike) and a possibility of Zombies returning and this is looking far better than that crappy Reach beta I played a couple of months back.
