[QUOTE="GazaAli"]usually I dont enjoy point and click games at all. But the problem is, they provide a very unique atmosphere. I mean Machinaruim is a game I really really love and enjoyed so much.Planeforger
I haven't played machinarium, all I can say is I have yet to find a point and click game I enjoy. It just bores me because I feel like I am not really playing it.
Machinarium is brilliant, but I can understand why people get bored of these games. You can try the online demo to see what you think (although the full game gets much better very quickly, imo): http://machinarium.net/demo/
As for the Myst series, I'd recommend those too, although they might be boring for non-adventure game fans.
They offer an amazing sense of atmosphere - maybe not so much in the first game (which feels considerably more dated now), but from the second game onwards. This might be because of the immense attention to detail in each of the games' worlds, but also in the music and everything else.
I'd start with the first game, since the plots all follow on from eachother, but it's not the best in the series. Riven is probably the best, but it's also the hardest, so it might not be the best to start with either. Maybe you could try a demo for Myst 3 or 4 first just to see what the later ones are like, before getting the first game?
I went to that link and played the demo. I immediately bought it. Awesome game!
