I lost him in my game. The only way to get him back is to wait about 5 weeks in the game and it will say he returned to Fort Farragut. Other than that, he is gone until then.
once I waited inside and it didnt work I waited outside, and it didnt work. I slept for 24 hours so it would be the next day, and it didnt work.
