Games are too short these days.

I have been noticing from my years of gaming that games as of late have been getting shorter. Now don't get me wrong some games like Saints Row 2, and Crackdown are pretty long but mostly because of activities. I have recently played dead space, and I beat it in like 6 hours of hardcore play, then shortly after that I played metroid fusion. It took me a few days, to one hundred percent it. Dead space was fun, but it was so easy to complete and it's hard to play certain games again and again. Some games today that are great examples of length and fun-ness are Mass Effect, Oblivion, and Fallout 3, while some examples of shortness are Rouge Warrior, Call of Duty, and Drawn to Life. All these games are great (except Rouge Warrior) but they are just short for single play. Now Call of Duty gets it's props for it's multiplayer action, but there are just some days that you just don't want to play with so many people and then you get let down because your game time was so short. I just wish that games will become longer, with out just activities filling them up, but actual fun game play that could relate to the story lines.
