I got R6V2 on Friday and I've been playing it all weekend. The graphics and gameplay are quite good if you ask me. I don't think the multiplayer quite matches up to CoD4 or halo3, but the online co-op is really fun.

It's a toss up between the halo series and Mafia for me.

Does anybody know any good moderately new turn-based RPGs with a decent storyline? Anything like the good old final fantasy games or golden sun etc. I've got a PC, Xbox360, PS2, PS3, DS and GC.

Cheers,

should i get cod 4: goty, or r6v2? i currently have r6v, and from what ive heard, the online is nearly the same. cod 4 goty will include the new maps and (maybe) it will be $10 cheaper. rentals are an option.Xeros606

Both are good, all comes down to how much you enjoyed the prequels. I haven't played the first R6V, but the second one has good co-op online and relatively good mulitplayer. CoD4 has good team multiplayer and a great story in singleplayer, but no co-op. I would personally recommend CoD4 though.

As long as the game is balanced right there shouldn't be a problem.

Take BF 2142 for example: when you start off you have access to some basic weapons and equipment and as your rank up you get new gear that gives you more options in combat (mines, rifle rockets etc) but doesn't mean you lose if you're only just starting out. If you can't get any kills at all when you start out in 2142, CoD4 etc then maybe you should stop blaming the unlocks and get some more practise. Having all the gear doesn't make you invincible, trust me.
