Bought this on an Epic games sale last year. I love JRPGs, turn based action, and emotional character but I fizzled out after about 20 hours. Maybe I will get back to it and try again after I finish Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but I feel like this game would have been a lot more gripping for me 10+ years ago (I'm 31 now).
Haven't played Medal of Honor but the rest of their games have been fantastic. Titan Fall 2 is one of my favorite FPS over the past 10 year, Jedi Fallen Order was probably my favorite Star Wars game since Jedi Knight II, and Apex Legends is the best BR created so far. I'll be following just because it's Respawn.
As a patron who played and beat this game many months ago, if you are in the right audience for this game I would consider it a 9 or 10 easily. It is almost flawless for what it is trying to achieve, and improves on Ori and the Blind Forest in every way -- emotionally, exploratory, gameplay. This is one of the few games that brought back similar found moments of inspired games near and dear to my heart like Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Hollow Knight, and Castlevania (I am specifically fond of Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow). Enjoy friends.
