Well, I've tried blogging on other sites to minimal avail. Why? Well, I would be rather playing or making games than typing about them. However, I am one opinionated dude and what better way to express my opinions than to a whole community of people who probably won't give a damn?

Hmmm... on second thought, perhaps there are people out there who will...

Let me ask you this: Are you someone who enjoys a good debate but is annoyed by the mindless internet throngs? Than perhaps this blog is for you. Are you someone who is interested in getting informed points of view even if they don't match your own? Then, indeed, this blog is for you. Are you someone who likes to question and be questioned? Then, of course, this blog is for you. Are you interested in thought-provoking original posts about games and the games industry? You'll find those here!

If you are a fanboy (or girl) who ignores all reason and sanity in favor of loyalty, a mindless troll, or you just can't control your language because you are eight years old and only impressed by four-letter profanities? Then please steer clear of this blog... thanks.

Oh, and just to get this out of the way now, I am game designer in the industry. The thoughts and opinions I post on this blog are my own and not representative of the thoughts or opinions of my employer. Also, I'm not here to talk about anything that I am currently working on, that is off limits (not just for contractual reasons, but simply because that is not what I want the focus of this blog to be).

Well, I hope some of you are still with me... I'll look forward to seeing you next time! I'll try to update this sucker at least twice a week.
