i would say its around 15 - 20 % ms does not care they want to break there systems so people will rebuy

Makes sense to me. :)

Now you see why the PS2 sold 125 million.

It's sad that the lemmings have to resort to bashing the PS2 like this when they know that it killed all the competition last gen. I guess they are just mad that Sony made a console that will prolly sale more than all of M$'s combined.

Hypocrisy FTL?

Yeah prolly, but correct me if I am wrong, didn't Sony fix the problem soon after?

If you concider 5 years and a lost lawsuit soon, then yes....

Link? If not then you are spreading lies.

Sure, I discussed this weeks ago in a thread:

The 2 links I have are

And just for further cow ownage, Cows love to claim the 360 has the highest ever industry failure rates? Wrong

  1. The Atari 5200 - 60 - 90% http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/cx52_j.htm

    2.   The Intellivision - 40% http://intvfunhouse.com/faq/intv_faq5.php

Give it up already. The 360 is considerably the most faulty system this generation. Using the PS2 as an excuse for a faulty system is pathetic at best.

Says the cow, who spent last gen forgiving Sony.

That was slighty retarded and had no bearing to what I just said.

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]I do not have a link but I believe it is approximately 6%. About double that of "normal" consoles.justforlotr2004

It's a lot more than that.

Why are Lemmings or confused Hermits keep believing that it's around 5%? It's pathetic.

If you have no proof then your comments are empty souls to anyone here.

M$ even admitted it.

I remember them saying it was bigger than 3% but idk about sayin it was bigger than 6%, you know where they said it cause I cant remember exactly.

They were very vague when they admitted it. I don't think they have it in them to say that there is 40% failure rate.

I just finished reading this ridiculous post on his blog. All I can say is "WOW". This guy has some serious issues. But even with those issues aside, is it unreasonable for the gaming community to expect professionalism from members of the development community?

Developers, like Jaffe, are the "rockstars" of the industry and represent the companies that employ them. As such, I beleive that these developers should be held accountable to a certain degree of professionalism, of which Jaffe is exhibiting none. I think that Jaffe's post is so childish and full of hubris that it deserves nothing less than a response from Sony on the matter. What are your opinions?

-RPGamer-

Professionalism is BS. It a mask. And its his blog so he can vent whatever he likes.

Haha, agreed

Mask or not it's a sign of respect. Respect for your company, your fellow team, and your product. Whether people attacked him or not matters very little. It's online for one thing and you should expect to get random garbage from people on an open communication with little in terms of consequences. He should have been able to field the flack with more control, but instead he lost it and acted with very little self composure.

What the hell are you talking? It's David Jaffe for Christ sake.

I don't care who he is (albeit I know who he is), he shows little respect for his team, product and company.

What?

I'm pretty sure his team would have agreed with him or already have.
