Speaking of return of the 90s, you know what needs to return? Brit pop:D Blur did a new tour in england, supergrass made a new album last year too, and so did the verve. I personally prefer brit pop to grunge, and thrash metal. Heck I think the 90s prog revival, Brit pop, and shoegaze scene was more interesting than grunge by far.

... Eh no not really.I seen Blur this year twice at two different festivals, and while they were great to see, I don't think they should come back.
Meh I dont see why not, their last two albums 13, and think tank were fantastic. I like how they change their sound while Oasis just repeats the same formula. Brit pop bands like Mansun, and pulp interest me more than grunge for some reason. I was never really that into grunge aside from soundgarden, and alice in chains, but I have heard people say they are not grunge tecnically.
I'd consider them grunge to be honest, theres just different sounds of grunge... Nirvana were more punk orientated, AIC were more metal orientated etc...I'd agree with Oasis, they used to be a breath of fresh air but got stale quickly. They're no more though, so Blur are the ones to come back, if Britpop is to make a return.
