Haven't had a blog post in a while, so I might as well do one right now.
Black Ops. 2 is apparently happening, and why this is news? Did anyone think for a second that it wasn't? What I really got a kick out of was the COD hating from people who had Assassin's Creed avatars. They were like "Boo! Same game every year!" and failing to see the irony in it all. Personally, I'm excited for Blops2, because I loved the Black Ops campaign, and Im look forward to what Treyarch has up it sleeves.
So nothing is really happening here... I'm a bit lonely as the girlfriend is out of town with her folks for the weekend, but I've been playing Skyrim and Resident Evil to pass the time. I'm wholly impressed with RE: Revelations. On almost every level it sets new benchmarks for the 3DS. The graphics are probably the best on the system, it controls great, and it is actually scary. Plus, i salute the developers to having Jill Valentine as the lead. I'd say you spend about 65% of the game as her, and I was expecting to be playing as Christ Redfield for the majority. Again, hats off to the developer.
What else? Looks like the Vikings are staying in Minneapolis, and I can't be more excited. LA is going to have to steal someone else's team. What is also fantastic is that the new stadium will be downtown instead of in the East Metro area. This is great, as downtown you have things like the Target Center, the stadium where the Twins play, and various great sports bars and restaurants. The light rail system also goes through here. In Arden Hills, the east metro site, there is pretty much nothing, and the road upgrades needed would cost us tax payers over 20 million dollars by some estimates. So hooray for common sense on the part of our politicians... For once.
That's all I've got right now. Keep on Trekkin', and have a good President's Day.
