Quake Live

I never really had a chance to play many computer games. The hassle in order to keep the computer up to date really makes you lose money. The last time I ever played a computer games had to be the original Counter-Strike mod. I was about 10 and I lucky to have it run because my cousin actually lend us a graphics card to run it. I fell in love with it and didn't even realize that the original Half-Life actually came with it because I knew that I would have enjoyed it. When I heard of Quake Live, I thought I can finally play a computer game without the need to upgrade the computer or even have experience with the promise of matchmaking system. I did my research and really enjoy how this game is turning out to be. Any computer can run and was tested with a $200 machine and performed with 130 frames per second. I hope that this game is out of its closed beta because I know that a game is Free is actually worth trying. Even though it might have ads I can live playing a cla ssic deathmatch game.

Is Rock Band 2 really necessary?

Harmonix is incredibly know for making Guitar Hero and gave the rights toward Activision and Neversoft and has created one of the most well-known instrumental game, Rock Band. Harmonix and MTV games has revenued millions from this game and is planning towards a sequal. This might excite the people who own the original, which I don't have myself, but is it necessary? From my point of view they trying to milk another $200 dollars of new instruments and $60 for a new track list that probably give you more of a deal that the DLC for the original Rock Band, depending on your taste. When I heard of the sequal, I was thinking, can't they just create better versions of the instruments available already. I now head that they want to recreate the drum set and I think if they bring more changes to the core gameplay, then there should be a sequal. I'm glad to here from leaked pic that DLC and Original Rock Band songs are playable work for Rock Band 2, but I'm trying to see how that works. This is just my opinion and hopefully that there is real changes to the game to actually count for a sequal. From the looks of this, it will probably turn out to be like Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It's my opinion and hopefully you can put yours as well on this.
