Harmonix is incredibly know for making Guitar Hero and gave the rights toward Activision and Neversoft and has created one of the most well-known instrumental game, Rock Band. Harmonix and MTV games has revenued millions from this game and is planning towards a sequal. This might excite the people who own the original, which I don't have myself, but is it necessary? From my point of view they trying to milk another $200 dollars of new instruments and $60 for a new track list that probably give you more of a deal that the DLC for the original Rock Band, depending on your taste. When I heard of the sequal, I was thinking, can't they just create better versions of the instruments available already. I now head that they want to recreate the drum set and I think if they bring more changes to the core gameplay, then there should be a sequal. I'm glad to here from leaked pic that DLC and Original Rock Band songs are playable work for Rock Band 2, but I'm trying to see how that works. This is just my opinion and hopefully that there is real changes to the game to actually count for a sequal. From the looks of this, it will probably turn out to be like Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It's my opinion and hopefully you can put yours as well on this.
