The game comes out in the UK tomorrow, and I should be getting it on launch day, and just because I know certain people I'm getting it for £30 ;). So I'm going to be playing over the weekend then I'll give my thoughtssometime next week and a few days after that expect a review, which is my first in a long, long time (A year I think?)

Okay, so, i've had the game for since January, I think, and the reason I haven't ccreated any levels until now is because I just jumped into the level creator and BAM! I realised I had no clue where to start or what to do, but after coming back to it recently I just ran with it and came up with a fairly decent level (I think) which is currently rated 4 stars by the community :D. Anyways if you want to play it or check it out, just add my PSN, which is EternalMidnight and tell me what you think.

Note: I made the level easier on purpose as I got so annoyed at some of the story modes that I said a few bad words (here read, a lot) just because the control's are nowhere near as tight as in a Mario game and I didn't want people to get annoyed with my level and not complete it :(

Lastly, YES the end of my level IS a joke, I thought it was amusing anyway :P , check out the level to see what Imean. ;)

Wow. Just wow, I didn't think i'd go and get all 120 stars with Luigi :), I thought I was going to stop at about 80 like I did with mario over a year ago. Playing Super Mario Galaxy is still awesome, definately my favourite game EVER, definately (Yes, i'm even more excited about Super Mario Galaxy 2 now :D ). Even though the Grande Finale Galaxy was an absolute let down difficulty wise, I still got really excited going through it (Inner-Nintendo-fanboy glee) and it gave the game closure, which is missing from a suprisingly huge amount of games and i'm usually very dissapointed by the end of these games. Mario Galxy ended perfectly (although it still ended :( ) leaving me fully satisfied with the game. I also enjoyed having the little message and photo that you recieve (shame I can't frame the pictures :( )

On a completely unrelated note I reckon that if the wii could output it's graphics at a HD resolution (to get rid of the jaggedness of the image) then Super Mario Galaxy would be graphically better than 95% of 360 and PS3 titles, although loads of people would disagree, I think the game looks absolutely awesome on the Wii, well why bother saying 'on the Wii', it looks bloody awesome full stop. Although Tales of Vesperia on the 360 does look absolutely stunning and I can't wait to get my hands on it :), nothing i'm really looking forward to playing on my PS3 although I am going to be getting Overlord II on it just to get some playtime out of my PS3, because currently my 360 is sitting just above the Wii and the PS3 almost unplayed, although I do like to use it to watch my anime in the browser full screen :P But i've still got Bioshock and Metroid Prime 3 AND Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to finish xD. I'm mainly going back to finish these old games just because there's nothing new i'm that intrested in, so why can't I finish some great, but old games?

Sadly i'm not enjoying Bioshock that much it's just too similar to an ordinary FPS (I'm not a fan of FPS') it's fun when i'm playing it, but there's always that 'Do I really want to play this now?' or 'Actually I think i'll play 'Insert game here'' thing which I do. So Bioshock, good game, not very addictive or exciting, not gonna buy number 2 :( Still fun for an FPS, it's in my top 3 anyway, top 3 of 5 played xD, most of which were on the gamecube, and 3rd of 4 if you don't want to count Metroid Prime 3 xD.

And finally finishing Mario Galaxy has got me pumped to play the much harder, but not as good/fun Super Mario Sunshine, which as anyone who read my last blog post knows, i am nowehere near finishing xD.

I don't care if it's been a year and a half since I got the game, I finally got 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy, I say just because after getting the 60 stars needed to complete the game I got about 5 stars every month by playing the game on and off. And okay seeing Mario Galaxy 2 at E3 convinced me to get my last 20 stars but hey it's better than I did with Mario 64 (113 stars), the DS version (148 ) and Super Mario Sunshine (50 odd I think XD). Still, bring on Galaxy 2 ;) )

I've decided to stop talking rubbish (no swearing for me ;) )and saying i'm planning to update this because I hardly ever do... obviously. Anyway I really enjoyed this year's conference's, yes, even Nintendo's, though only because of the games they showed, the rest was a little meh, but still better than last years abismal effort, which I still enjoyed i'm ashamed to say because of the little Nintendo fan boy inside of me that wants to get out. I also got pretty excited at the Sony conference as, well, looking at the games made me think that I was finally going to pay my PS3 a hell of alot this year, which is great :). Finally Microsoft's press conference (Strange order to do them right?) showed some great games but nothing that I wasn't expecting, except L4D2 which doesn't interest me anyway :(. Overall this years E3 was better than last years, but they've still got a long way to go to match E3 2004's awesomeness.

If anyone wants to know what I thought in more depth and/or detail just send me a message, although I bet nobody wants to know what little old me thinks ;)

Maybe i'll do another post after my GCSE's finish, but with my blogging track record i'll just make up that i've got something better to do and miss out on it, just because i'm a lazy bugger. Catch ya next time ;) (Blunty3000 references FTW! XD)

Hey, I know I've been offline for ages but now I should be online more often...... maybe..... Well add me Xbox Live if you fancy playing Fable II which is the most kick-ass game I've played in ages, might be getting Fallout 3 if it's like Oblivion like everyone is saying it is. Oh and I'll also be playing a lot of Halo 3 online. But this post is mainly just to say I'm not dead, you'd be suprised how many messages I've had asking me that.

Yes I have finally started my blog but it probably won't be updated often because I'm only going to be updating it when something I find worthwhile to type about. Anyway, today I had a great idea, I was going to play all my dad's old NES games, they obviously ain't mine as I'm not old enough to have been around at the same time as the NES or the SNES for that matter but my dad was and still is. So as you can probably see in my 'now playing' section I am playing NES games to get a feel of what gaming was like back then. I am glad to say that I am now hooked on these retro games and that a few of them smash today's 'classics' in terms of gameplay. Well until my next blog, that's if I can switch off my (dad's) NES for long enough.
