I agree with the general concensus - 10/10 does not mean the game is perfect. There is always SOMETHING wrong with even the best of the best games. Many people would say Ocarina of Time is a definte 10/10, yet I'm sure people have at least one thing they would have prefered been different.

10/10 is a game that is, and will be, one of the best games not only on that console, but in the years to come. Of course as with all scoring it is highly subjective so there will be the odd person that thinks the game is not good, but those are a very few number.

I posted this on another thread, but I'll post it again here, because it sums up everything I and a lot of people feel about the Natel

I don't understand why people keep using this picture as an insult. If one looks at the context it's not that rediculous. First, the camera was actually following her movements, so despite her flailing around, the character on the screen were doing the exact same movements. It seems to strengthen how good the camera is rather than insult it. Plus, if you saw how many balls were flying at her she was just trying to hit them all and just randomly doing things. I know I do that in games sometimes and I'm using a controller. Again, not sure how this is supposed to be insulting. I dare someone to stand up in front of millions of people watching and use a new technology like a pro without doing something goofy. Good luck.

You can make anyone look rediculous doing anything. Someone could just freeze frame the movie while a speaker is changing expressions to make them look rediculous then say "LOL luk @ dis dude. Y wud I play games he made lawl"

Oh, and before someone says something. I own a PS3. I don't own a 360.

It isn't coming to the PS3. EA is just saving it for their own conference. The devs and moderators stated on the official website that it will be unvieled at the EA conference which is taking place in a little less than an 1.5 hours. So no, it won't be on the PS3

Hello all,

I'm going to be buying a 360 shortly and I was just curious about a couple of things.

1) The arcade has the jasper chip does it not? If so, would it not be more productive to buy a arcade version and a 60gb hardrive seperatly since this set up gives you the exact same things the pro version has, but have a better chip? Or am i missing something?

2) How many games could you download to the 60gb version?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help :)

I'm obviously not speaking for everyone here, but I personally think overhyping a game is what the developers need to do in order to get anywhere in the industry now and days. Newly released games are a lot more expensive this generation than they were in the past and add into the fact that the economy is in a slump gamers these days are on a fixed budget. They have to pick and choose which games they can or cannot buy. Take inFamous for example. If you troll the boards about it or look at some user comments you can see a lot of people saying it looks good, but not worth the $60 despite the amazing scores it is getting on reviews. Developers need to convince gamers that they're game is worth the price you pay for it. By overhyping a game they can take the spotlight off other games which means gamers won't buy them and save their money for the up and coming big games. Releasing tons of exciting new info about a game three or less months before it is released will not build up the hype nearly as much as making gamers agonize over the months and months of a really cool and exciting game they saw 9 months ago, but are forced to only get their fill from little tid bits of info being released every now and then. Personally I think it's great marketing. Plus, if your game blows everything else out of the water at E3, where the best of the best of the best video games are being previewed, you can bet that publicity alone is something any amount of advertising will not accomplish. My 2 cents.

Which elite system did you buy? Most of the elites on shelves now have the older chips which is one of main problem to the overheating issue. IIRC only the RE5 elite bundle contained the Jasper chip that pretty much absolves all of the heating issues unless you have it set up where it's standing on the fan or something similar. As for the online issue, I really think it's dependent on the game more than the system in terms of how many idiots you get. I don't have much experience with online, but for instance Halo 3 has more idiots than any other game I've played yet CoD doesn't have nearly as much. (Still quite a few though...) Anyway, not trying to convince you not to sell your system since you seem to have your mind on it :) Oh, and I have both a 360 and a PS3 so I like to think I'm unbiased since I don't prefer one over the other. As for whether you should sell your games or not I think you should. It's rare for a game to sell for noticeable amount more years down the line than it is when the system is popular and the online community for the game is thriving. There are exceptions, like the Dreamcast example someone mentioned, but those are far and few.

As much as I hate to admit it, Halo 3 is my favorite. Ignoring all other aspects the single player alone is amazing. Once you add in the multiplayer and co-op into the formula it can't really be beat. Mass Effect is also superb, but Halo 3 has more replay value in my opinion.
