out of the roughly 790 games I've played, my top are
1. Ogre Battle 64 (For N64)
2. Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis (For GBA)
3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (For Wii)
4. Gears Of War (For X360)
5. Destroy all humans (1 and/or 2) (For Xbox)
Many come close, be they strategy games (Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne & Starcraft),
other shooters (Halo: CE), platformers (Just about any 3D mario title besides sunshine,
and psychonauts), RPGs (Paper Mario, FF7, Super Mario RPG, etc), action games (NG:B,
NG2, DMC:1,3,4, GodOfWar 1&2), party games (Fusion Frenzy, Mario party), or random
things. These five are just the titles that have hooked me, and even though several are quite old, I still go back to play them. Be it epic stories, with political
intrigue, and characters that develop as the story progress, with insane strategic
options (1&2), a game to play with friends, or to look back on
and remmember the characters that made old games special (3), a game to indulge
in, with graphics that surpass reason, full of rejuvenating gameplay that never gets old
(not to mention gore, 4), or games that just grabbed at the historical nerdy side of me,
who loves old puns, over the top antics, that just make me laugh manaically as I
destroy a planet... (5).
