I'm starting a little game evaluation, based only on games I play and ones whom I see someone play. I played all these yesterday.

1. The Darkness

What's not to love about this game? You eat your enemies' HEARTS to level up! And you impale them with tentacles. Plus you always have a gun or two out.

Quickly tops my favorites in the FPS genre.

2. GTA San Andreas

I've been missing out on this game for two years and bought the collectors edition a few days ago. All I can say is WOW.

The storyline, the voice acting, everything is great. Except for some gun sound effects, especially the shotgun.

3. God of War 2

My new most favorite game of all freakin time!

So nice and gory, brutal, etc.

I freed Prometheus and killed the Satyr on the griffon(sp?) and grabbed his spear.

Love it!

4. Super Paper Mario

Technically, my brother got this, but I play it too.

And incredible blend of a platformer and an RPG.

The 2D-3D is incredible, and presents some very interesting pussle possibilities.
