I doubt the controller is a giant touch screen, I remember similar rumours flew around when speculating the Wii controller.

It could be a wise move the jump ahead of the competition.

Sony don't appear to thinking about their next system and from reports we heard a few weeks back. it sounds like Microsoft hace only just started work on theirs.

Looking at the games annouced for the 3DS. they are a lot more 'core' than whats been seen in the last few years so Nintendo focusing on the hardcore market again wouldn't be suprising either.

What games. that have yet to be released in 2010 are you planning to get this year?
