A Blog about ANIME and MANGA?!

Rare, indeed. I hope you somehow find this banter interesting.

-- Let me first start out with saying I don't really enjoy anime. Low quality voice acting and cheap animation usually makes me lose interest in seconds. However, I love manga. But let me start of with an Anime! It's the only anime adaption of a manga that a think is much better in anime form.

I LOVE TORIYAMA

--Dragon Ball Z has always been my favourite anime. At face value, it just looks like another fist-flying battle anime. Now, it sort of is, but don't let that fool you. Toriyama put a lot a effort into making the characters likable, and that goes a long way in ensuring that the viewer never thinks: ''Oh, guy A wants guy B to die ...or....zzzzz.'' Also, the series had fantastic music throughout. How fantastic?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z2ACNX8EA4

--It's also rare the an anime has it's character grow up. At the beginning of the original 'Dragon Ball', Goku was around the age of seven. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, he was married, had kids, and ..... well, the anime never told you his age at the end. Few animes have achieved the kind of 'Magic' that DBZ has.

--Now we deal exclusively in Manga. Yep, the good old black and white. Also, I'm going to lump three series together, if you don't mind, for the sake of pacing.

BYAKUYA 4EVERGAARA 4EVERum.....ummm...... Usopp 4ever?

--These are the three mega battle mangas of our generation. You can't really go wrongwith one about Samurais in the sky, rubber pirates, and Ninjas wearing bright yellow. Sadly though, One Piece(right) is beginning to fall off the map due to the story completely losing itself.

-- A very fantastic and intellectual manga I love is called Deathnote.

Balls.

The story is a very smart and logical highschooler, Yagami, finds a 'God of Death''s Notebook. If he writes someones name in the book, they die of a heart attack. It's by far the best manga in it's genre and everyone needs to try this one.

However, I like another genre of manga that I usually keep to myself. I can tell you though, I'll never met you. No, it's not dirty stuff, if that's what you are thinking. Can't stand that.

:)Bunny. :3

Whee!Aw.. :(

Yes, I like Shojo. Before I get a bombardment of gay slurs, no, I'm not gay -_- Though I doubt any of you are shallow enough to think that.

-Not sure why I like it. I get caught up the stories way too much, though. When I start a really good one, I'll just camp out at the library. My favorites have to be Honey and Clover and Love-Com.

Alright, that's about it. I hope you didn't find the blog boring or insulting to your IQs. :P
