-Introduced in 'Metal Gear Solid 2' Raiden met with universal hate. Why's that? He extensively trained in VR missions and the 'Big Shell' incident was his first true mission. He seemed to be a talented as Snake, as well.

''But why would anyone hate someone as awesome asRaiden?'' you might ask.

REASON ONE: He took away Solid Snake from players. Many stupids just didn't like Raiden because he wasn't Snake, simple as that. It didn't matter if Raiden was the most hardcore badass on the planet. However, I liked Raiden.

REASON TWO: He looked like he was ripped from a Final Fantasy game. A young man with flowing white hair was a little over the top, but I didn't really mind. Also, his lady friend looked like she was ripped from FF too.

REASON THREE: His voice? Eh, I guess some people found his voice irritating. I liked the voice actor, though.

--I am one of the few people on Earth who likes MGS2 more than MGS3. I absolutely cannot wait for Metal Gear Rising, and when I get the Metal Gear Solid HD collection, I'll start with MGS2, with a smile on my face. Eh, not sure why I wrote this blog, I guess I just wanted to rant a little..
