This is definitely distinct as a forum and not as social media. Social media we would be all blogs and groups (unions). Some features were borrowed from social media ideas to make things more modern and approachable.

FYI there's a slide at the top right of the page that lets you switch between light and dark layouts. It probably should have been made more conspicuous.

Agreed on the forum. I'm finding it hard to read peoples posts now that the font color is all white. It's so blinding. Who's wise idea was this? And the fact that they've put quotes on the left side of your post now just seems weird to me. I guess I understand that it makes peoples posts smaller but it just seems like a weird place to put someones quote.
