Sharky, have you played any of the Total War games? I haven't played the new one yet; it's set in the 18th century. However, they are releasing a Napoleon: Total War in 2010, I think February. They also have a Roman one, which I didn't care for all that much, but I heart Medieval and Medieval II - only the latter of which is still playable on current operating systems, sadly. (And by "current" I mean XP, dunno about newer ones.)AstroCityGirlNo, I haven't played them. But that is the one I came across most when I was looking myself. It looks cool, but you can never tell about a game from the company's website. Does your post mean that you payed it? Did you like it? My one concern was the mix of turn-based and real-time play. Can you turn off the real-time battles? Or at least avoid them if you want?
